Gorgeous Jewelry Creations
Aletha is the mother of one of my best friends and I have known her, her family, and and her gorgeous jewelry creations for years. When a close family friend named Liz passed away, she left me a string of African trade beads she had acquired in her extensive international work and travel. I knew that Liz’s beads would be in expert and careful hands with Aletha.
Aletha took time and painstaking effort to learn the history of the beads and to understand the life and work of their original owner, Liz, so beloved in my family. Via texts, emails, and phone calls, she researched the kinds of necklace designs my sister and our mother and I would most like, and she made stunning, personalized pieces for each of us. Our Aletha necklaces contained Liz’s cherished beads, along and with other precious beads from various parts of the world, each chosen lovingly from Aletha’s wonderfully curated collection.
We couldn’t love them more, and are so grateful both for our necklaces and for the kindness, care, and respect she is taking with the rest of Liz’s trade beads. It makes us so happy to wear our necklaces, to feel the love of Liz and Aletha when we do, and to know that her beads will feature in other gorgeous Adornments by Aletha.
